Yesterday, the delegation of Focus India 2015 arrived safe and sound in Switzerland. It was the ending of the on-site seminar, which lasted for more than two weeks and provided the participants with insights into the Indian way of doing business and the Indian culture.

During the on-site seminar, the delegation has learnt a lot about the characteristics of Swiss companies doing business in India as well as Indian companies. The participants have visited numerous companies and organisations, met friendly, highly motivated, and visionary people, and have experienced the Indian culture in a deeply impressive way.

Now that the on-site seminar is over we would like to thank all our sponsors, partners and supporters of this project. First and foremost, we would like to give thanks to Accenture, our main sponsor, which has contributed a lot towards the success of this project. Furthermore, our platinum sponsors, Endress+Hauser and Sulzer Chemtech, our gold sponsors, Blaser Swisslube and Fraisa, our silver sponsor, Franke, and our in-kind sponsors Burckhardt Compression, Haco Holding AG, Victorinox and Chocolat Frey, without which Focus India would not be the project it is today.

Furthermore, we would like to mention all our partners, which provided us with the necessary goods and services to experience an unforgettable project: Swiss International Air Lines, Restaurant Sitar, Aggarwal Fine Continental Food, Stofftaschen, swissnex India, RHZ Sprachen, Weinbaugenossenschaft Schinznach, Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Centinated Hosting Services. We hope to continue the collaboration with our sponsors and partners for the next year’s project.

Last but not least, we would like to thank the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, for giving us students the opportunity to participate in such an international project.

We are looking forward to the final event of Focus India 2015 on 11 May 2015 and a sustainable success of this truly unique project!
