The People Behind Focus India

Focus India is organised every year by a project team of students from the FHNW. The team is responsible for building partnerships, planning events, and preparing the study trip to India. They work closely with companies and academic contacts in Switzerland and India.

Yaris Baumgartner

BSc Business Administration – Major: Financial Management and Auditing

Yaris enjoys working in an international environment and loves getting to know different companies and building relationships with them, this really helps a lot with partnership acquisition for Focus India. Fun Fact about Yaris: “I’ve already lived in 3 different countries, maybe that’s what gives me the right eye for intercultural collaboration“

BSc Business Administration – Major: Business Innovation

Lino‘s strength is connecting different perspectives and turning them into ideas that create value. Something he looks forward to contributing to Focus India.
Fun Fact about Lino: „ I spent a semester living and studying in Mexico City, which taught me that the best ideas often emerge when different ways of thinking meet.“

Vanessa Stehle

BSc Business Administration – Major: Business Innovation

Working in international logistics has taught Vanessa to keep an overview, communicate clearly and stay organised, even in dynamic situations. Fun Fact about Vanessa: „ I spent a summer working as a children’s entertainer in Greece. It was exhausting, challenging and one of the best experiences I’ve had!”

Aurelio Gunzinger

BSc Business Administration – Major: Digital Business

Aurelio loves to dive into new cultures and discover places by backpacking. He spent many years organising summer camps and went camping with kids. He is looking forward to connect these two things for Focus India and organise a once in a lifetime seminar abroad in India. Fun Fact about Aurelio: „I studied for one semester in Morocco.“

Valentina Gil Lozano

BSc Business Administration – Major: Economic Psychology

Growing up in a multicultural and bilingual household has taught Valentina to be adaptable in different situations and to have a broad worldview. Languages and getting to know different cultures have always been among her greatest strengths and interests. Communication is key.

BSc Business Administration – Major: Financial Management & Controlling

Tiffany is a creative person with fresh ideas. She enjoys thinking outside the box while making sure that things are done carefully and with a great attention to detail. This can help create high-quality work and make projects stand out.
Fun Fact about Tiffany: „ I sometimes play hide-and-seek with my two cats, and I even taught one of them how to sit.“
