We touched Indian ground early on Saturday morning. Since then, a lot has happened. In Mumbai we met with the Magic Bus organization, professors from the Somaiya Vidyavihar University and the logistics company Weiss-Röhlig. The Magic Bus is a non-governmental organization which provides different learning experiences through sports for kids from less developed communities. The visit for March has been confirmed and we are very much looking forward to offer a unique experience to our delegation.

Furthermore, the project team talked about a possible exchange of Swiss and Indian students for the on-site seminar in March with the Somaiya Vidyavihar University and has even received a short insight into an Indian International Business class. In addition, a possible visit of a logistics hub in Mumbai with Weiss-Röhlig was discussed and we are looking forward to receiving a positive answer.

Mumbai is an incredibly vibrant city and is moving at a very fast pace. We are excited to take our delegation to Mumbai as we are confident that they will enjoy their stay.

We then headed to Bangalore, the IT-hub of India, also known as the “Silicon Valley of India». Even though we landed in the evening and did not get to see much from our surrounding, we knew that we would wake up in an entirely different world the next morning. So it was. Bangalore is growing rapidly. The daily life, however, has not yet reached the pace of Mumbai.

A busy schedule was laying ahead of us as we met with our long-term Main Partner Accenture, Swissnex India and our first-time Gold Partner Swiss Re. During these meetings the programs for the visits for the on-site seminar in March have been finalized and we are very pleased to inform that our partners have planned extremely interesting programs. We are certain that our delegation will be introduced to things that they have not yet encountered.

After two days of Bangalore the project team has now safely arrived in New Delhi and will send you a further update after the meetings.
