An incredible week filled with insights, innovation, and collaboration! Our Focus India 2025 Seminar in Switzerland brought together industry leaders, academic experts, and ambitious students to explore TEPA: Innovation through Collaboration with a strong focus on sustainability and global business.

Day 1 – Kickoff, Swiss-Indian Relations & 20 Years Focus India
The seminar began with a joint ISP opening featuring inspiring words from FHNW Director Michele Canonico and Jean-Michel Ah Kong (Endress+Hauser), followed by deep dives into Swiss-Indian trade relations, vocational training in India, and economic collaboration. The day concluded with a special celebration marking 20 years of FHNW’s India activities and the 20th anniversary of Focus India bringing together alumni, partners, and students to honour this milestone.

Day 2 – People & Leadership
We explored cross-cultural managementmental resilience, and Swiss vs. Indian business approaches. Emirates provided a fascinating look into the future of global aviation & sustainability, while a TEPA debate challenged our perspectives on trade dynamics.

Day 3 – Planet, Sustainability & Innovation
From cutting-edge biotechnology and AI-driven solutions to ammonia as a hydrogen vector for clean energy, sustainability was at the core of our discussions. We also launched a TEPA project with students from Athena School of Management in Mumbai.

Day 4 – Profit, Industry Insights & Collaboration
A visit to Endress+Hauser provided firsthand insights into global supply chains, precision technology, and sustainability-driven strategies. The day also featured a yoga session embracing Indian culture and discussions on Swiss-Indian football initiatives.

Day 5 – Career & Innovation
The seminar concluded with a Career Fair, fostering valuable connections between students and leading companies. The Shark Tank Challenge pushed teams to develop innovative solutions, and Bruno Schenk (Wipro) delivered an inspiring talk on Sustainability, AI, Innovation, and Resilience.
