Today everything just did not happen as planned, so for the first time during our Preparatory Seminar, spontaneity was required. For the today’s visits, we had to split up and go separately to meetings as the schedule did not allow otherwise. Different events forced Tobias to not only reach the other project team members by metro and rickshaws (also called tuktuk) but also in a totally different area as firstly arranged. However also Federica and Marina somehow did not end up where expected and saw more of Delhi than previously planned. Luckily, Indians are, besides being absolutely helpful, also very understanding and spontaneous. The separate meetings went however extremely well. Marina and Federica visited MDH, which is the market leader in blended spices. We are looking forward to show our delegation how spices are transformed from corps to blended spice mixtures. During that time, Tobias visited Genpact, a Call Center, and the visit in April was arranged. After we finally found each other again, we went to Maruti Suzuki. Blaser Swisslube helped us organizing this visit and we had a fairly charming exchange. The delegation will be lead through their production hall and will witness how Maruti has every 16 seconds a car running out of their factory. On the way back, a phenomena not existing in Baroda was again our companion, traffic jam!
